Hi John, you might want to duplicate your request on slippertalk.com and some other orchid forums, there's a lot of cross-membership but many people only check one or two regularly. Good luck!

Fairieanum album "Hagee" FCC/AOS. I have retired back to CA and I am trying to find an available division of my lost FCC plant. It is just a serendipity attempt to regain a piece of what was lost. I have found the clone on the internet, but on follow up it is never available. I am hoping that someone in this group may have or know someone who has a piece available. I am glad to find this site, I have not attended an orchid meeting for the last 30 years. Sometimes it takes time to go back to what you lost. Thanks for this opportunity to contact you and I hope to here from all of you. Aloha
Last year I obtained 2 species paphs that are over 50 years old - from the widow of someone who had grown them.........for over 50yrs ! Don't give up hope. Your one is out there somewhere !

Oh I hope I can find an old widow too, I know doc charles had a piece but I don't know how or where is collection went after he passed. I traded a lot of orchids with him and norris powell and several others. I had the luck to purchase Inar Knudsen's collection
and that was my real start into the commercial orchid business. At the time it was one of the most complete paph collections. Not many people grew them, but I loved them. Two reasons, their unique beauty and they could not be meristemed. That was just starting and I watched as expensive clones of orchids were reproduced by the thousands. It gave everyone the chance to own an awarded plant, but the orchid grower's revenue went down. I watched as armacost & royston left, then stewarts. They went up the coast and then just away. It is your fault you get an old fart reminiscing and they go on and on and on......... Thanks for the encouragement on the plant.

its the old farts that keep their collections going for so long ! There is an annual sale at the Chicago Botanic Gardens and I always get an old clone or 2........the golden oldies that have all but disappeared. Funny enough all the old timers I meet always have species paphs, never hybrids.

Hey, get out an indelible pen and write this on your arm. Paph fairieanum album "Hagee" FCC /AOS. Use that as a reminder when you go to the aboretum sale. I contacted an old time grower in chicago, Kleem, I believe, but he no longer had the plant. You really never know where a piece will turn up.

maybe you can advertise in the AOS magazine, haven't a clue how much it would cost. Maybe old farts pay less ?
