Real introduction "Bobits"
Greetings from near Toronto Canada (that's in Ontario). I am a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in acquired brain injury. My love of orchids relates to my work as both require patience and the longevity of nursing something or someone. In my work, I coach my clients patiently along to help them meet their goals-- here, I am the one being coached along however I then, in turn, help my plants along to (hopefully) grow and flower.
I have already found the forum extremely helpful and informative. There is so clearly a wealth of knowledge here. I look forward to one day being one that can share knowledge with others, but for now, I'll learn.
I am also a soccer player in my free time and enjoy reading, cooking, concerts, and other physical activities such as downhill skiing.
Does anyone here attend any orchid societies in the Toronto area??
