A Future Orchid Doctor

[Hadazul]

I am Hadazul (Blue Fairy in Spanish) and I am originally from Argentina.
I live in Surrey, BC Canada and it was in here where I got my first orchid (a Phalaenopsis) on June 2013 and it's doing OK (just OK).
Since then, I learned some basics about them and therefore I feel very bad every time I go to a store and I see that the ones that lost the flowers or something else are left in very harsh conditions (even DIRECT sun light at some stores) just waiting to die. :nono
Since they are on sale, I try to buy as many as I can thinking that because I have the willingness to rescue them : I will. Unfortunately I found out the good intentions are not enough to save them.
Today I am joining because I know that in this board there are many VERY experienced, knowledgeable and kind people who will be glad to help me become a great orchid doctor and succeed at saving more of these poor mistreated beings.

Sometimes when they have already been mistreated it can be very difficult to save them. So don't feel bad if you don't manage it.
