Newbie from Canada!
Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum and new to orchids as well! I got my first one in september and am completely in love! I grow many other plants as well (yucca cane, aloe vera, african violets, philodendron, to name a few) but my two orchids are my pride and joy.
My first was Phal. Wedding Promenade. I got her in great shape for a great price in full bloom. She's now putting out a second spike and a couple of new branches with buds on the original spike. The second is a NOID Phal I found on clearance ($5) as a sad-looking little thing. The blooms were already gone when I got him so I don't know what they'll look like but a secondary spike has grown since I brought him home and some big fat buds should be opening soon! Can't wait to see what they look like!!!
That's enough from me. I look forward to getting to know everyone-- and I'm sure I'll be asking LOTS of questions!

Welcome to the Orchid board. Phals are the best way to get introduced into the Orchid Hobby. Congrats!
