Default Hi there from Wyoming

Hi I am from Wyoming and I am not sure you can get much more worse conditions than here. I have had a few orchids for several years and I hate to admit it but I have lost a few also. I have also had some success, but I do need some help.

I think I may have more than a few questions?????

I have been reading for about 4 days now and have learned some very informative things so thanks already.

Shannon

Thank you and I'm sure I need it. I have a few phals I will have to count but around 15, 2 oncidiums (to lazy to look it up spelling that is) and a phrag.

I have killed 2 cat's and 2 paph's and a few phals but am trying to do better now. I am not like the most of you in that I over water most of my problem is that i do not water enough. I am going to leave it at that tonight because I am hoping i will be able to post pictures if i need to tomorrow and am having trouble posting as believe it or not i have a baby bunny in my hand that one of my dogs got yesterday that i am now feeding by an eye dropper. So I am posting one handed.

Welcome to OB Shannon!

Don't worry about loosing plants from time to time even the people that have been growing for years still kill plants for time to time. Don't be shy about asking questions we love to share what we've learned. So fire away when your ready.

Ferns Daddy I am too. I have already learned allot although I know I will never learn enough I'm sure. I did need some help.

Your Fern is a very cute girl, I will assume she is the dog in your picture. I have 4 yes 4 dogs. At some point I will probably intro them in the pet section. For now I am having fun talking about my orchids as I belong to a few dog forums so this is something different for me.

we all killed orchids, , it is part of the learning process or lack of attention (usually happens with large collections).

this is a friendly place, beware of the mods,. they will make you smile, overall the best place around to talk about orchids. (imho that is)

Antonio.
