Hey
Hi all, just found this place, linked from a post (DW) @ AOS. New to orchids just at a year, moved from a tiny table of 2 orchids in living room to pushing hubby out of the breakfast nook with over 30 orchids. Gee they love their new home. Orchids have never been a love until I took on a desired goal working in the garden center at HD. Just can't walk past one without looking, touching, and caring. Geez my husbands jealous...not...just a love to raise. Not sure of a favorite species, but in search for a Blc. Norman's Bay 'Low' a love of my late mother-in-law and incorporated on the cover of a cookbook in her honor. My questions may be dumb but the only dumb question is the one not asked...

Why are your catts the problem 'chids? I'm soon to start out my Catt collection thanks to a recent contest I won on Orchid Board .

Hi Cheryl, welcome to the OB. Glad you followed the link in my post at the AOS discussion. We have an excellent forum here with many features.
When you find that Blc. Norman's Bay 'Low' sign me up! That would be one of my ongoing favorites as well as Blc. Mem. Susam Hawkins, Blc. Oconee 'Mendenhall', Lc. Culminant 'La Tuilerie' and Lc. Persepolis 'Splendor'. Some old stuff, but beautiful.

Thought you might pick up on where I got the info for the forum and thank you for the welcome. Will make note on the Norman's Bay, it's my destiny. The others you stated are they wants or have's? Googlized for an image and they are gorgeous.

Out of all of them I only have Blc. Mem. Susan Hawkins 'HM'. The rest are on the want list.

As quoted "Just one more". Can't say orchid lovers do not know what they want from X-mas...your want list added to mine, as stated catt is orchid of choice...
