Miniature orchid fan from Belgium
Hello,
my name is Davina, I'm 21 years old and I'm fairly new to collecting orchids.
My "obsession" started when I went to an orchid nursery for the first time, I was kind of gobsmacked by the variety of orchids that exist (there are more orchid species than the plain white Phalaenopsis).
So I bought my first orchid, this was about a year and a half ago.
Since then I have fallen in love with miniatures, this has gotten a bit out hand!
By now I already have about 40 miniature orchids, these are growing in an old aquarium that I've converted into an orchidarium (I will post pictures later on).
My ultimate favourites are Pleurothallis and Lepanthes.
The reason my obsession has grown so rapidly is because of my boyfriend who has been collecting orchids for about 6 years now, you might already know him, he registered a few days ago his name is Yéri.
So this was my intro, and I'm looking forward to posting and replying!
