Hi y'all. I have been raising orchids for about 20 years. I just became a student judge for the AOS in June, and I have really enjoyed myself. I have a strong interest in hybridizing, and a short list of my projects and goals includes:
1. Standard pink cattleya with an all white lip and column.
2. Multifloral white and pink paphs.
3. Warmth tolerant red oncidinae crosses.
4. Remaking old hybrids with different and new species.
5. Epi. magnoliae crosses.
6. Warmth tolerant Masdevallias and Lycastes.
7. Intergeneric hybrids using Maxillaria.
Welcome to the Orchid Board. Glad you could join up. Once you become a judge/full judge/graduate, let us know so we can celebrate and give you proper title here. AOS judges get an AOS JUDGE Badge under their usernames.

Are you doing your internship at the AOS Headquarters in Delray Beach? I was there earlier this year and loved it If so, you probably know our friend Rhonda, her username here is Rhonda_in_FL
I love the list you've posted...warm-growing Masdies!!!
I look forward to seeing what you come up with...something with jewel colors would be wonderful
That is quite a varied list of objectives! Of course, for many of them you have previous work from others to access. Good luck in hybridizing and judging!
