Hi,
My name is Greg, and I am a school music teacher in very cold and blizzard prone St. Thomas, extreme NE ND. I have now acquired 6 different orchids in my 100 count indoor plant collection, and the 6 seem to be growing quite nicely. I have a whole house humidifier and another smaller humidifier, both working on automatic control, so our house stays around a constant 48% humidity, absolutely necessary up here in this cold Canadian climate that we have in winter. I also have a nice set-up in the basement with grow lights up and down and set on timers. I have 17 more orchids on order, 15 of them are seedlings which will go right in the basement under the lights.
I am attaching a few pictures of a NOID Oncidium group orchid that has bloomed that I am hoping that one of you can identify. I have found pictures that are relatively close, but still not the correct identity. Thanks everyone!

Rosie, thanks! I clicked on your orchid photos. Wow! Wow! Wow!!!! Amazing-- how many orchid plants do you have? It looks loke a full-time job just maintaining them. Very impressive. Where are you from and where do you keep all the plants? Greg.

I only have about 80, there are people here with a lot more
I keep them mostly on windowleges (which are all packed) but also have a small greenhouse where the cool growing ones live and some of the others go out in the summer.

Welcome to Orchid Board! My hat is off to you. Growing 100 plants indoors takes quite an effort.

It does take some time effort. Thanks for the welcome. The biggest surprise to me is how many guys are involved with plants! Greg.
