After only a few days on here of research I think I'm watering them too much

and I do believe my phal was rotting

so I think my problem is solved!!
I hope so cuz I have 5 new ones coming next week

easy varieties, I stuck with another phal and two cats, plus a gram scriptum, and a cymbidium because they looked cool. Holy moly I am excited
