Default Hello from the bay area!

So my name is Tim. I'm new to orchid keeping and I recently got one that was really awesome and I just had to have it. I'm gonna post a thread to the identification section so I can find out what it is.

Hello from the bay area!
Default Hello!

Also new and also from the Bay Area so no need to make an entirely new thread! :P I figured I should join since I usually find myself on this forum during my image searches for orchids. I am a semi recent orchid enthusiast myself. Like many of you, I've been bitten by the orchid bug and have gone through the fast track learning method of reading as much as I can about whatever orchid that interests me online. Often, I don't find enough information online but that's what hands on lessons are for.

I'm excited to participate in advancing knowledge and providing personal accounts on orchid care and hopefully meet a few interesting enthusiasts to chat about the many possibilities the world has to offer. :]

Namaste everyone!
