Hello everyone... Just a little about myself. I've enjoyed the beauty of orchids for years, now I'm ready to learn everything I can about them. With this site and you all I hope this wish will be filled. I look forward to hearing from anyone who will advise me now these beautiful plants. Thank you all

Hi Jan,

Welcome to the OB! Glad you joined.
If you could post the names or photos of the plants you have that you need info or help with, that would help lots!
Many people here can offer advice and suggestions as well as information, but orchid culture differs depending on type of plant, location, and care.
Let us know what types of orchids you grow

Thank you everyone for your wonderful welcome.. My first question is what type of orchids should I start out with. I do very well with flower gardening and veggies. but in the midwest where I live I don't know which orchids I should even try to grow. As most know in Missouri where I live it gets very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. I do have a small green house. I don't know if I should use that or grow orchids in the house????? If I can get your help, I will so very grateful.
