hi folks! new to orchid board

hello all. my name is brandy and i'm an orchid-aholic. i started off with one phal orchid a couple of months back & sadly it died from root rot...came from the store with badly rotten roots. despite my best efforts, including advice from this site, it was too far gone & passed away. but now i have 4 new babies (all phals) and they're doing outstanding! after getting these ones home from the store, they all got a thorough root inspection, new media and pots & surprisingly repotting didn't seem to interrupt their blooming. 3 of the 4 have stopped blooming now, so i removed their spikes in order to encourage root/leaf growth. the other one is still bloomin away and even putting out a new spike from the branch...see pics below. one of the other 3 seems to be *maybe* trying to generate a new spike from the base but we'll have to see on that one...see pic below. the other 2 are putting out new roots like crazy...pic below also. anyhow, super excited to be here.
