You can still join the club Aaron. I too work on Sundays, and can't always come. I have to take it off, or trade when I want to go. There are other advantages to joining, other than the meetings. The news letters keep you up to date about group orders and visits from out-of-town vendors, and other news. There are lots of members who can't always come to the meetings, and some (like you) who can't come at all.

Welcome to OB! I grow my orchids in an attached greenhouse/solarium in Saskatoon! I was just at the Edmonton Orchid show for the 3rd year in a row. I'm a member of our local society and I've attended the Edmonton society once as a guest. It seems there are some really experienced growers in the Edmonton area and there is likely a lot of knowledge to gain from being a member of the society there.
