Default reblooming

i place my orchids outside in the fall so that the temperature has 10-20 degrees difference in day and night. i switch to a different fertilizer at this time called bloom booster 3-9-6. they have humidity trays around them. should i do anything else for re-blooming? I am very new to orchid growing and appreciate any advice. also, I was thinking of submerging the every pot in water for possible "bugs" before bringing them in for the winter. What does everyone think? Thank You
