New to Orchids. Female
Default New to Orchids.
I am brand new to orchids!Never before have I lived with the proper conditions to keep them so I never tried. But, I did some great reading.Finally I bought a home in the right conditions! Im doing Well but have questions that books dont seem to word well...Everyone seems very nice here and I look forward to discussions with you.

WOW - you purchased a house in order to be able to grow orchids! That is dedication to your desire!! Welcome to the Orchid Board - questions asked and answered, more questions raised! I hope you find the support and friendship that I have been given here - and I am sure you will. Orchid people are an odd bunch - besides the fact we will choose to purchase an orchid and a package of bologna instead of wasting money on a steak dinner, we also seem to feel a need to help other orchid growers. And, as there are 23,000 (+) varieties of orchids, we are all newbies in one sense or another. I have never heard someone say they gave up orchids because they were bored with them - just doesn't happen.
Welcome to the Board and to the orchid growing society at large! You will be entertained ---
