They need to have a large temperature difference between day and night, during Winter...similar to Cymbidiums.

Last year we had a mild winter and the Clivias in the shadehouse were less floriferous than the ones outside

A huge temp diff huh? I can do that now!
The sun is no longer hitting their room directly, the room is darker than usual as its no longer being used for the summer. And the AC goes on alot. I could turn the AC on every night and off every morning.
