Hello peeps!

I'm happy to find an orchid centric message board. I'm new to indoor plant care and am a budding orchid enthusiast. I've always admired them from afar, always afraid of not being to care for them correctly.

I recently took the plunge and rescued a mini-phal (no name, sadly, but I do know it's white flowers) from Home Depot's liquidation bin. It seems pretty happy now, growing new leaves. That, of course, along with the Montreal Orchifete last fall essentially sealed the deal when I got myself a lovely Paph.

I'm hoping to learn from all of you. Many thanks for sharing your passion with neophytes like me.

That is one of the great things about orchids; there is one for every taste and condition. I have studied orchids for 37 years and every time I come online I learn something new. This culture will keep you young!
