Hi Folks,

Found this board whilst trying to find some infor on a rather oddly behaving oncidium and decided to stick around!

I'm Alex, lab technician and tinkerer extraordinaire. Been growing Orchids for the past couple of years, but only really gotten into it this summer.

At the current count i've got 4 orchids, 3 Phals and and Oncidium. The Phals are waifs and strays picked up from supermarket reduced shelves in various states of decrepitude, all are now happily on their second spike this year, despite the glorious English summer (or lack of!) The Oncidium is an attempt to grow something a little different, but as yet, its not doing a great deal of anything...

Anyway, just though I'd say hello and be nice before I start bombarding you all with questions!
