Welcome! I just saw these beautiful cymbidiums blooming at the Santa Barbabra Orchid Estate. I didn't get one, Though it might be too difficult to get it onto the plane home!

I believe the Indianapolis Museum of Art greenhouse has one of these (I think that's what it is - I volunteer there and most of their collection is NoID). Theirs had an odd, sweet fragrance - not bad, but not something you would want in a perfume!

Yes it is the fragrant one as you say a not unplesant sweet scent you should get a back bulb from theirs for your self may take a few years though

Mozart tends to top my list a lot of the time. I like Chopin but haven't really played much.

Orchids... well phals, paphs, dens and masdies top the list there. Also have a few oncidium types but not sure I've worked those out yet.
