Hi everyone my name is beck. Im from Far Northern Australia which is nice and tropical and great for growing orchids!! I only have around thirty orchids but love them!! We have some beautiful native orchids of which I have a few, the rest of my orchids are all different varieties. At the moment I am trying to discover beautiul ways of growing or mounting them which is not in plastic pots. I was browsing the net for this when I came across your site I'll look forward to joining in on your dicussions even if I am a bit of a rookie....

How ya going mate ! Welcome to OrchidBoard. Are you able to get orchids sent from other places? I know Australia has very tight quarantine laws. I got a few orchids in Singapore and they were confiscated by the customs at the airport in Brisbane. That sucked !
