I'm only beginning to get into orchids, always thought they were exceedingly beautiful plants. My original interest was actually orchid mantids but they have become increasingly difficult to purchase here in the states.
I have 2 orchids, what species they are I am not sure but I plan to find out as soon as possible. One is currently growing 2 keikis and is the main reason I joined this forum to find out the best methods of when and how to remove them from the parent plant and care for them properly in case they require different conditions once separated to thrive.
Welcome to Orchid Board! We'll need to know what kind of orchid you have and where the keikies are on the plant before giving any advice on how to handle them. Good luck.
Rather than the species look to find the genus. It might not be a species but rather a hybrid of multiple species and many orchid hybrids in the mass market don't have a hybrid (grex) name.
Most of the time the genus will be enough for care instructions.
Once you have 5 posts you can post a picture and we can most likely tell you the genus from that.
