Hello From Louisiana...
Hello from Louisiana which is part of the deep south, with the Mississippi River being its eastern boundry, and the Gulf of Mexico its southern. I'm probably the greenest newbie that ever registered here before! I have only two orchids, but am totally intrigued with them, and in great suspense waiting for their first blooms. One that I have is a Phalanopsis, cultivar Wedding Promenade, and the other is a Nun's Orchid. I hope to learn more about growing, and caring for orchids, and to meet a lot of orchid growers.

Welcome. We freely welcome newbies and oldbies alike! The only thing different between you, and others who have lots of orchids, is that you have less orchids to care for. The learning process is the same. Feel free to ask away, to offer observations, and to share photos and hints.

Welcome aboard. We all were green once. Some of us still are. But we all keep working at what we love, keeping our babies green and happy. Have fun!
