New to forum

Greetings to all,
I am new to this forum and to growing orchids. I live in the High desert in southern California. About 6 miles north of Yucca Valley to anyone who knows the area. I have a 8 x 10 east facing room that I have turned into my orchid room. I have 20 orchids in my collection. I am a old hippie from the the 70's, I play bass guitar and love to grow anything.
I look forward to learning from all here and hope this to be an enjoyable venture.
