Default FANCY'S BABIES
I AM A NEW MEMBER FROM BALTIMORE, MD (ORIGINALLY FROM HUNGARY) AND I AM VERY HAPPY THAT I FOUND SUCH A GREAT PLACE TO GET IDEAS AND INSPIRATION FOR TAKING CARE OF MY ORCHIDS. I HAVE TONS OF BOOKS ABOUT THEM BUT I DID NOT HAVE THE INNER THRIVE TO TAKE THEM TO THE NEXT LEVEL. NOW THAT I AM A MEMBER OF THIS AMAIZING SITE I WILL MAKE TIME TO TRY TO MOUNT MY FANCY'S "BABIES" INSTEAD OF PLANTING THEM IN POTS....
I HAVE OVER A 100 OTHER PLANTS IN OUR HOUSE AND I HAVE 12 CATS!

HI KIM,
THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE BUT THE ONLY CAT WHO'S ALLOWED ON THE 3RD FLOOR WHERE MY ORCHIDS ARE IS VERY WELL BEHAVED. HE KNOWS BETTER THAN NOT TO MESS WITH MY PLANTS! THERE IS ONE MORE CAT INSIDE BUT BECAUSE THEY DO NOT GET ALONG WITH CHRIS (THE CAT ON THE 3RD FLOOR) HE STAYS ON THE FIRST FLOOR. ALL THE OTHER CATS ARE OUTSIDE IN THERE OWN LITTLE "CASTLE"....I LOVE THEM!

A big welcome to you, Evaregina. You'll find the Orchid Board is a great resource -- you can get answers to almost any orchid questions. Sounds as though you have a large setup so please let us see some photos.

OKAY SOMETHING HAPPENED TO MY REPLY LETTER SO I HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN....

FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE WARM WELCOME!

MAYBE I SOUNDED LIKE I HAVE A LOTS OF CHIDS BUT EXCEPT TWO, ALL MY PLANTS ARE FROM DIFFERENT SPECIES. YOU CAN SEE MY BIG ORCHID "FANCY BIGIBBUM" AS MY AVATAR. I DON'T HAVE A PICTURE OF THE LITTLE ONE YET WHICH I AM NOT EVEN SURE WHAT KIND....
I HAVE A PESSION FOR PLANTS SO IT IS GREAT THAT NOW I'LL BE ABLE TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY 2 CHIDS AND MAYBE START TO HAVE EVEN MORE OF THEM! I AM GOING TO START TO MOUNT FANCY'S 3 BABIES ON WOOD STICKS RIGHT AFTER I RELOCATE ALL MY PLANTS BEFORE WINTER COMES (STILL WORKING ON A GREEN HOUSE).
IF ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THAT AND COULD GIVE ME SOME ADVICE IT WOULD BE AWESOME!
