Hello everybody,
I have just joined up and hope to get loads of information from all you experienced growers out there and make a few friends alongthe way
I love orchids and have been moving towards growing more Cattleyas over the last year. I have 58 tropical orchids (which I grow in my house) and a few hardy ones.
I am still firmly in the amateur camp but hope to escape soon

It's nice to get such a warm welcome.
I did upload four photos (of what I have in flower right now) but they seem to be in an album on my profile only :P
It'll take me while to get the hang of the site.

Welcome! It's very nice to see a fellow Irish resident on the board. I'd be very interested to hear where you source your orchids from and how you manage with the higher light, higher temp, varieties.

Are you a member of the Irish Orchid Society by any chance?
