Greetings From Mississippi
I am a relatively new orchid addict and I am very happy to meet you all. I hope to pick your brains for advice over the next few weeks concerning the rearing of my 6 babies.

Welcome to the Orchid Board. What are your six babies?

I have 4 Phalaenopsis, 2 of which are miniatures, and I have one Ascocenda and one Renanthera. The latter two are still quite young and have not yet flowered.

Great, I love mini Phals. Are they hybrids or species? The species are always cool, but the mini hybrids are sooo cute.

I am fairly sure they are various varieties of the amabilis species, or at least one of them is. The other I really don't know about, since the label was pretty vague when I bought it. However, except for color it looks pretty similar, so possibly both of them are amabilis.
