Default New from North Carolina!

Hi all! I'm new to the forum and pretty new to Orchids as well (casually owned them for years, but now am getting serious), so I'm looking forward to picking everyone's brains while I dive into my newish hobby!

I have Phal's and am a bit of a bleeding heart for a sad looking plant, so when I saw Lowe's "left for dead" section I broke... Now I have 10 plants and most look great since they were tossed aside for loosing blooms, but a few are a bit questionable... I'm going to start a thread in the newbie section with a few pics (if I can figure that out) and hopefully they all will make it!

I look forward to being a part of the forum, thanks in advance for the help!

Thanks much! I posted some pictures in my Gallery along with my questions, should I move them into a thread still to get them out there?

Yes, your much more likely to get people seeing your photos if you start a thread with your questions. You can either just post the links to the photos, or the gallery should give you URLs to use that will post the photos in your message

If you have trouble, let us know please!

Douno, All of them are bloom-less (some rootless) as I have had to restart my collection (not that it was large anyway) after moving (gave the others to friends) and grabbed a bunch of dying phals from Lowes! I posted my musings and confusions in the beginner thread under "A tale of ten phals..." if you want to see a few rescues!

I'm in Raleigh, not too far away for trading one day... *mischievous smile*
