Hi Ed. Welcome to the Orchid Board. So, how did you figure out how to make them bloom reliably??

Omar,

Trader Joe's has some nice ones too, but like Home Depot, just "the usual suspects". Mesquite Valley Growers on the east side (a landscaping plant nursery) usually has a few, but generally pricier than HD or TJ's.

I get all mine by mail order. A good site with links to almost all the major (and minor) growers is:

The Orchid Mall - Everything in Orchids

I often order from Oak Hill in Illinois, as well as many others. Thier prices are very good, quality is pretty good too, but the cheaper plants are fairly small, so you will usually wait a couple of years for a bloom although they do usually have some blooming size that are pretty economical also.

Enjoy your shopping.

Ed

Tucson is a great place! I love it. Swamp coolers work great there. B&B Cactus Farms is where I got most of my cacti while there.
