Hi everyone,
New to Orchids and the Orchid board, but it's been a great resource so far. I am currently trying to keep 6 phalaenopsis plants alive. I've always liked plants, but there's something about Orchids. I've wanted to get them for years, but was always afraid they would just die as I've seen so many other people buy them only to have them die. They are such beautiful and exotic plants. I really can't wait to see if I can get one to re-flower.

It's always good to have new people join. ianmh: if you live in the Toronto area, you certainly have the temps. and the humidity this summer to have your phals. thrive. Have you joined an orchid society already? Between this board and an OS, you'll find your collection expand exponentially in no time flat!
