Hey Dorothy, I'm just uploading some pics of my orchids that are in bloom.....I'm fighting aphids/spider mites at the moment on some of my hibiscus, so they're taking a break from blooming, with the exception of the one outside and the one that has 3 buds on it...just ready to burst!!! I was thinking it would bloom today....but nothing yet.....

I'm kinda ticked, as the orchids that I ordered are being carried about in my maillady's car....she's had them since 7:30 this morning.....Ive been home all day, but she didn't even attempt to deliver them...just stuck one of those delivery notices in the box.....THEN, she's decided to not deliver it back to the mail depot until after 1pm tomorrow!!....I find that very frustrating....grrr....

Hello & Welcome aboard, nice to meet you
Where abouts in Canada are ya?

Sorry to hear about your over travelled 'chids, I know this happend to me just the last time around - didn't even bother to ring the doorbell. It was my dog outside that alerted me that someone was at my house.
I was lucky, I did manage to grab him before he closed the van door - "HAY IS THAT FOR ME"
Sure enough he came back handed me the box of goods and took his notice back.

Glad to have you here, enjoy the forum.

Wow - Twilight - can you complain to your post office? Better yet, if you know when you will be receiving an orchid package, inform them ahead of time so they know to deliver it immediately
I hate knowing my orchids have gone under undue stress ..

I did file a complaint this morning..this isn't the first time it has happened...and normally I let it go, but it being live plants, I wanted to get them asap. When I called Canada Post, they suggested calling the outlet again this afternoon just in case she brings them back, and sure enough it showed up! So I jumped in my car and just unwrapping the box as we speak....Im glad I called, because otherwise I would've waited until after 1pm (as this is the box checked on the delivery notice) so they wouldve sat there for that much longer....anyways, all good now....WOW do they ever wrap them well!!!! I ordered them from Cloud's Orchids.....this is like Christmas, I'm so excited!!!! LOLOL
