Hi Jon, welcome. Don't worry about the learning curve I'm new too and the people here are so friendly and freely give great advice. Remember there is no such thing as a 'stupid' question

Welcome to Florida and Ob. I joined just recently and I am in South Florida too, Pembroke Pines (near Ft. Lauderdale). I see quite a few people on OB are from Florida. Please share your pictures with us time to time.

Hi jon and thank you for your service, we all really appreciate it. like some else said you are in the right place to photograph orchids. I'm not a photographer but do enjoy our Fl. Everglade where their is unlimited photo opts. with wildlife, landscapes and of course Orchids. My gallery has some photos I have taken over the years to show you what you can expect. Anything I can to do to help don't hesitate to ask. you can see my gallery by clicking on the camera in the upper right of my post.
