Hello
Default Hello

Hi!
I've lurked here before, but Shadytrake's dendrobium made me have to comment, so I guess introductions are in order.
I grew up in south Florida, where I got hooked on orchids as a kid. Grampa took me to Orchid Jungle for my birthdays, and there were all the tampensis in the woods behind the house... Moved up north, learned the hard way the rules are way different there, and came back to central FL, though I hope to eventually move back south. My collection is largely various catts, since they like my conditions best, and they smell as good as they look. I also really like the encyclias, so have a bunch of those- they do well here also. I have some vanda alliance, though not as many as down south, My biggest love is the antelope dendrobiums, though- the curlier the better. Unfortunately they're hard to find- they're the one orchid I buy for myself as NOIDs, since that's often the only way I can find them. (I do rescue and then gift NOIDS)
I grow all my plants outside in trees year round. So size is not an issue.
