Hello from Jamaica!!

Just wanted to say a quick hello to the board! I am several months into this orchid hobby and already have grown my collection & even nursed several orchids of my mother's we had never seen bloom to sending out huge and extremely healthy spikes.
I have actually been doing a lot of homework through research and of course by asking my fellow orchid growers and sellers questions. Most importantly i have learned through trial & error as experimenting. Happily i am gaining much experience both on the nurture & scientific levels of orchid growing.
I am proud to say I am in the process of setting up my personal orchid business.
I'm sure there are still so many I can learn from on here as much as I believe i have the knowledge under my belt but certainly not the experience.
Look forward to showing my collection!

I certainly intend to post photos of my blooms....I'm curious as to whether or not there is a specific section i should do that?

on the left side you will find the site menu and click under "forum" then find the kind of orchid you have to post and click on that...then click on the new thread button and fill in the blanks...be sure to have a resized picture that is 800 x 800 or smaller pixels before you load the pics...or else you will have a hard time uploading

Thanks so much to everyone thus far for the warm welcome. Oh trust me, i'm not afraid to ask questions about anything i'm not 100% sure of.
