Hey Betty, as you soon will realize, Phals are very easy orchids to grow successfully. Just take that time to find the right location for it where it get good shade and great light but never direct sunlight.
Also tell me about the medium in which it is potted?
If its in moss i recommend watering once ever 10 days. But to be sure just push your finger down in the moss to check if it is still wet or if it is simply damp to the touch. If only damp/cool to the touch its time to water again. Remember that Phals don't like their roots to be completely dried out before the next watering.
If its a very porous medium that allows fast drainage of water then you will need to water every day. I know its starting to get really warm as summer is upon you in spain, and i know the summers can get quite hot. So I recommend you mist the leaves every morning or even twice a day on those really hot days.
As for fertilizing, use a balanced 20-20-20 fertilizer at 1/2 tbsp to a gallon of water. Do this every other week and you will surely have continuous blooming all year round
And of course Welcome to the board!!!!
