Default Introduction

Hello,

While I have used this forum over the last couple years, I have never really posted or followed much, but I am starting to get into a lot of the natural history and science behind orchids, so I thought I should introduce myself.

I grow a variety of genera, and I try to focus on trichopilia. Currently I grow marginalia, nobilis, hennisiana and tortillis. I am interested in suavis and sanguinolenta as well, but they are a bit harder to find. I also grow some phrags, angraecums, maxilliaria, coelogyne, j. sedirea, p. xanthina, i. aurantiacus, o. incurvum, m. regnelli, cischwenfia, and some other things.

I look forward to learning from all of you; let me know if you have any questions on trichopilia or if you have any tips on people who grow some of the other lesser known species.

I am going to try to post some pictures below... let's see if it works.

Hey Nat,

It is. They are pretty neat and quite easy to grow. I will have some pictures of tortillis up soon; it's spiking now, which is weird, as most of them usually flower for me in the fall.
