orchid lovers,

I'm new member of this wonderful group. Also I'm a total novice to this beautiful hobby of ours.

My first serious interest in orchids was developed while I was temporary living in Hong Kong as they have beautiful botanic garden and annual flower shows to visit.

Now I'm back home, Canada, and I got this urge to get "involved" in the hobby. I purchased few (8) plants at Home Depot and start studying and reading everything that will come my way about orchid growing.

Right from the start I had problem with one of my plants, So I was searching web for help to remedy the problem.

In that search I come across this site and I was amazed by the wealth of knowledge and most importantly willingness of the group members to help novices like myself.

So I joined the group with hope that I'll learn thing or two and one day be able to help somebody else in need.
