Default Newbie front Central NY.....Hi
Hi everybody. I just got into orchids a few months ago. I was up to 9 plants, but my dog decided to have a party with the cats 1 day and he left me with 1 plant and a few oxygen pots

The last one has since died and I have picked up 3 no ID phalaenopsis from Lowe's & HD. I just won today 1 named dtPS phalaenopsis, 1 psychopsis Hildos and am bidding on a new hybrid paph.

I need to stop before my hubby kills me, lol.

I'm more of an outside gardener, happily spending hours outside in the sun digging. It's nice having something to care for inside as well.

I have very little appropriate growing space outside so I have an indoor garden. It is so wonderful to have flowers in the winter.

You are not the first one here to have had pets have a party with the plants.... It's one of the risks of having orchids and animals!

Nice that your collection is underway again! You need to tell hubby that one can never have too many orchids! A lot of us here have resorted sneaking plants in the house!

Yeah, he has noooo idea about me Ebay wins

I also saw a noid ice orchid at HD yesterday that was a dark red with thin white stripes. I told him I must go back and get it. I only try to pick up clearance orchids at Loews or HD, but that color......I'm gonna have to pay full price.
