Having computer brain freeze
Hello! I have two computer questions. I tried to put my pictures in the gallery but can't find them anywhere. After I submitted, it wanted my user name and password again. Did I mess up?
Question two: How do you post a new thread on the New Posts section? I can't seem to find the "post a thread" that works. Honestly, this shouldn't be so complicated for me but it is. I scrolled all the way down and everything was just black. I don't usually have this much trouble maneuvering around a website. Thanks for any help. Sorry for being a computer pest. Kiki-do

Not sure what is happening in your first question, but as to how to post new thread, go to the forum area where you want the thread to reside and select "new thread". It will automatically be stored in the forum area where you create it. Hope this helps (see below).

Perhaps your pictures got put into the communal gallery by accident. Happens to me all the time when I forget to upload them into my specific gallery. Or perhaps you were not signed in at the time you uploaded them and the computer did not let you upload? In either case, you should try again.

Thank you for getting back to me. I'm beginning to think I can't maneuver on the computer part of OB.
It just doesn't come easily to me....confuses me. Someone once sent me a step by step instructions on how to post pictures, but I accidentally deleted (?) and don't know where to find it again. I will try to post pics again when I get my courage up to tackle it once more. Thank you for your help and patience.

Hi Kiki
For all the picture info you need, just open the Beginner's Forum...the pic info is in the threads "stuck" at the top of the list
Don't ever feel bad about asking questions...we're all here to help each other
As for posting in the New Posts area...it can't be done. You have to post within the forum you want it in. The New Posts area is sort of a "catch-all" for recent posts.

Susanne, for Kiki's benefit wouldn't we describe the "New Posts" as a short-cut to the posts that were recently made in other areas? In other words when someone posts a new post under, let's say, the Beginner Discussion forum, it automatically shows up under "New Posts" as a new post. Same with replies. Kiki, does this help?
