I know that this grief is eating much of me. No one can blame me, my dad left us when I graduated from college. Then my mom died. Then my siblings aren't with me. It's like too much for me to bear if ever I see dying orchids.

But with you around, I'll try hard to make things turn out the opposite than what they used to be in the past.

Sorry for your loss and I hope we can help make you feel a bit better. I have seen, recently many portraits of orchids. Beautiful paintings. So yes, you can paint and grow orchids too At the very least, you can decorate their pots.

Hi there shakkai!

The truth is I haven't started with my orchid assignment I'm still busy attending to the other responsibilities left for me to take care of. But thank you for this great resource. I have bookmarked the site and I'm subscribed to this thread. As soon as I'm done with my other responsibilities I'll look after mom's orchids. So far, it's my aunt who loves gardening and flowers is taking or this responsibility for me.
