Hi I am new to orchids also but I am surprised that some of the old timers here haven't told you that once you have been bitten by the orchid bug it becomes and OBCESSION!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome Tina,

There are alot of fellow tarheels here. I'm in Wilmington. There are also half dozen or more orchid nurseries to visit. And you are likely near one of the many orchid societies in the state.

What type of orchids have you started with -- as you see -- we all love pictures.

if you live close to Hickory cheack out Ironwood estates orchid nursery thats where I bought my first catt seedlings while out there visiting cousins
