"Greetings, Hello" from Kotar
Hi I should finally take a minute to intoduce myself. I'm long time plant nut, and i've had an orchid fever of 107 degrees for the past year. I live in NJ and grow outside when its warm and in the basement jungle when its cold. Its cold for most of the year here in the garden state, so I spend a lot of time in the basement finicking over my plants lately. In my free time, I work for Tewksbury Orchids and have become quite good friends with the owner, Hildegard Howell. I work for plants, not money. This has really allowed me to develop quite a collection. I am mainly focused on Paphs and Masdevallias, although i've aquired a little bit of everthing that can be grown intermediate for half of the year.
I work at a country club during the day and my wife works as a 911 operator on the midnight shift. It does get lonly at night when she's at work, so I've really been spending a lot of time with the plants. They are good company. It may seem quite peculiar to normal people, but I thought there might be some folk on here who can sympathize... anyway, I'll end this rambling rant and go post some pics!

Steve - Temperature of 107 degrees, you probably lost some brain cells, you'll fit in just fine. Welcome to the most enabling Board on the net. You will find that we love pictures, so get downstairs and start clicking away. Welcome by the way.
