HAPPY TO BE ON "BOARD"
HELLO, I'M LBITTICKS. I STARTED MY INTEREST IN ORCHIDS BY A KIND GESSUTRE TO MY NEIGHBORS WHEN I MOVED TO MY NEW HOME, ABOUT A YEAR AGO. THEN LAST SUMMER, HE WAS HAVING A GREENHOUSE BUILT BY A CONTRACTOR, BUT UNFORTUNATELY GOT TAKEN! SO, TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, I STARTED HELPING OUT ON THE GREENHOUSE, AND HIM & I HAVE BUILT IT FROM FRAME! IT'S NOT COMPLETE, BUT THE ORCHIDS ARE HOUSED THERE -FINALLY! ALSO BEING AN AVID GAERDENER MYSELF, I TOOK TO ORCHIDS LIKE ROOTS TO SOIL! I'VE RESEARCHED ALL SPECIES/HYBRIDS WE GROW AND HAVE LEARNED TO REPOT, DIVIDE AND AWAIT BREATHTAKING BLOOMS! I DON'T HAVE A FAVORITE, I ENJOY THEM ALL! SO MUCH SO, MY 7YR. OLD CALLS ME "ORCHID CRAZY" I LIKE THAT! I'M THRILLED TO BE A MEMBER, SO I CAN LEARN MORE AND MORE, THANKS FOR ALLOWING ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF (HOPE IT WAS'NT TO LONG).

Welcome to the Orchid Board! Wow, building a greenhouse must be quite a task! What a ncie thing for you to do for your neighbor.  What kinds of orchids do you grow? I'm sure that you will have fun browsing around on here and if you have any questions just ask. Everyone here is so helpful!  |

Hey, great to have you aboard. I am looking forward to seeing some pics of that greenhouse, and your orchids.
