I tried something this Spring that actually works. How long has it been since you cleaned your hairbrushes? Remove all the hair. Tie it into a small ball. Tie the ball to the plant. Squirrels hate the scent of anything human and will leave your plants alone.

$45 will get you a pretty awesome BB pistol that will definitely take care of your squirrel problem.

Nah, that won't work, might shoot the buds off too and end up with a swiss cheese plant, another family of planta entirely.

That is the coolest suggestion ever!! I've got loads of hair in my hairbrush! (Ew...huh...) I live up in New Jersey, but the squirrels are insane here! I think my husbnd is going to think I'm nuts, but I might have to try that for other plants!
