Hi all Im a newbie how is everyone Female
Default Oh my goodness

Hi again all, Im so excited to share with you all!! Just a little bit about me and my wonderful orchids I got bit one year ago and the rest is history. Im sorry to say that I was not a very wise beginner. I didn't plan on being a collector! So sadly I have several knoids that I hope to find names for and Im not getting flowers so as I grow with my new found hobby you will be hearing from me If I may pose my first question, any care advice for a Cirr. Medusae Orchid. Ive had her now for a month or two, she seems to like to stay moist, when I purchased her she was potted with sphagnum moss I have not repotted her yet as Im letting her get use to her new home. Any tips would be great. lastly is it true that black specks on the foliage is a type of bug if so how do I get rid of them!!!arggg
Thanks overwhelmed in Puerto Rico

you have a picture of your bulbophyllum medusae? I have two bulbos with roots loosely buried in moss in a basket...one have just bloomed...the black specks might be just sun spots due to cold water and the sun combination reaction on the leaf...but if it is a black dot made by a sucking bug...then you need to spray it with regular listerine or use a cotton bud to cleans it with to remove any bacteria that might have formed due to the bug saliva(if the dot gets bigger)
now if it gets worse: use the big guns(physan 20 or phyton= always the last resort)
