Good evening: I just found this site because I was interested in finding out more about my lovely Jewel orchid! It is in bud and I am excited. I checked my log and found that it blossoms usually every november or december. I successfully rooted two that had broken off and that is a real feat for me. I do love my orchids!

Thanks for the welcome! Happy to be here. When I learn how to get my pix from the digital to the computer, I will share them. I still have to wait for the Jewel to bloom....any day now. I went to the CT Orchid show and sale recently and bought an Oncidium Twinkle and an epidendrum fibriata...I love those little ones.
