Default Hello Everyone

I have read the forum and there is a lot of interesting reading you cannot find on the internet. I have posted 10 pictures of my second orchid that I have growing in water. The first one did not make it to the new place and a few other did not adapt to the change.
I enjoy taking pictures of orchids and many other flowers. In Vancouver it is green all year round and no shortage of beautiful flowers to snap. I hope you enjoy my photos and message me if you have any questions.

Default Thank you for the warm welcome

I could read for hours on here. I guess now when we are down at work I know how to occupy my time. I am looking forward to getting some different orchids in the future. I missed the last orchid show near my home. Vancouver Orchid Society have a wonderful variety of plants. I had one (not sure of the name). It was little yellow flowers on waxing type of stems. I loved it and it always seemed to be in bloom. Sad to say that one didnt make the move to my new place either. I am slowly building inventory back up. Very excited being here.

I posted my pictures in the gallery and I am not sure how to get them to my photo album. Are they public now? I want to share my orchid growing in water. Thanks if anyone can assist me :-)

The little camera on your post takes anyone who clicks to your gallery. There are how tos, if you use the search function if you want a pic in your post. How neat to grow in just water are you using regular tap water? Pretty bloom. Looks like its happy

Default Thank you for your reply :-)

Thank you for your reply. I wasn`t sure I had posted them right. I will make up an album too. Yes I just use warm tap water and dont let the water get green. I just run it through until it is clear. Once I put in one of those sticks but dont think it did anything.
The blooms are big and seem very happy. I like using the water over the mossy stuff. My first one that was in water only produced new leaves and did not bloom.
