I usually find only Phals at HD, and no name tags, I have reached a point no more NOids. You made some good finds at HD. Lowe's has the same one year policy. Good idea to save your receipts for at least six months. I do keep a complete record of each orchid and where it came from.

yeah well phals are the best orchid for beginers and speaking of phals do you know any online venders that sale phal gigantea. oakhill has them but they are verry small specimens and would take like 3 years to bloom properly cause gigantea grows verry slow like 1 leaf per year if even some years they don't even grow a leaf but it's blooms are so beautiful and the leaves too and the size of the roots. it's the only phal i have any intrest in ever own it. once i get one i plan on growing atleast 20 more from tissue culture and i'll probably sale a few online but that will be awhile. idk how gigantea will take to tissue culture but i know in my experience all orchids except paphs can be cloned in this manner

also i know for a fact that home debot only sales phals in there stores cause they have a contract with ice orchids. i worked for the outside contractor who supplied home depots plants as a merchandising rep. home depot doesnt buy there product. vendors sale there product there and home depot gets cut of the profit. out side contractors supply the light bulbs concrete, plants, soils, seed and grass stuff and wood. other than that idk maybe home depot owns some stuff but vendors own most of it. i havnt been to home depot since they let me go cause my bosses daughter was a slut and got knocked up outside of marige so i got letgo and then she got hired. i was making $14.50 an hour while it lasted but things happen.
