Hello Great to find a site to help with questions I have!
I have been growing orchids for about a year and a half. We added a sunroom to our house for birds, I raise lady gouldian finches. My husband gave me a gift -an orchid a month for a year and I was on my way! I raise all types and have about 30 right now. I tell my friends its a practice in patience with a beautiful reward at the end.

What 'chids are you growing? Having a sunroom is great for orchids...I just had one added on

Lady Gouldian Finches are so beautiful...we have a forum called Pet Depot where all the animal lovers here post pictures of their babies I'd love to see some

Welcome Ronda! What a wonderful husband you have to get such a awesome gift - does he know how addictive orchids are?

Welcome to Orchid Board! I'm sure you'll love it here. There are lots of people with tons of experience to help with any and every question you have along the way.

As you'll soon find out, we all love photos! So, can't wait to see some of your birds and your orchids - and maybe even both together?!

Welcome aboard Ronda!!! I wish my other half was that nice!!! I will tell him about the orchid a month and see what he says...probably: "You already have enough!"

Hi Rhonda! My mom now has my two LG finches. They are the most fun and full of personality. I miss them (they are in Florida, Im in NYC). Anyhow, welcome to the Orchid Board, glad you could join!
