Not new to orchids. I have grown many and killed many. I have dealt with plants and horticulture most of my professional career. I dont have any orchids at the moment, since my F6 benal cat has eat them all.

I am fascinated by epiphytes in general.
Tillandsia and polypodium ferns I am big on.
I also have a serious thing for taxonomy.

Welcome to Orchid Board! Many people here share your fascination with epiphytes. And don't worry about having killed orchids in the past. Most orchid growers have been guilty of that.
